At Rotec Company from Buzau, Mihai Tudose, Minister of Economy, Trade and Tourism, and Eugen Orlando Teodorovici, recently appointed Minister of Finance, arrived for a short visit. The visit was occasioned by the completion of a project on European funds, through which Rotec purchased 5 state-of-the-art equipment. The guests visited the sections of the company and received explanations regarding the production process. The new equipment purchased on a project with European funds will contribute considerably to the efficiency of the production.
Rotec produces everything that represents the former machine building industry in our country.
The Company’s management will continue to develop, both on its own and with the help of European programs. Production efficiency is essential for the Buzau company, which is currently in a position to refuse certain orders. Half of the costs of the 5 new equipments were paid with European money. In the future, other equipment should be purchased to replace the old, morally obsolete ones, which would require an investment of about 10-11 million euros.
The Buzau company was founded in 1971, with the aim of producing technological equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical and cement industries.
